Lierse have reached the semi-finals of the Belgian Cup. After the first leg in Mechelen finished 1-0 for the home side, Lierse put the situation right this evening in the home leg with a 3-0 victory. Wahed and Cavens found the net in the first half (Cavens via a penalty). Radzinski scored the third in the second half.

On Wednesday evening at 8.30pm Lierse play at home to Racing Mechelen in the Quarter-Final 2nd leg of the Belgian Cup. Lierse must try to overhaul a 1-0 deficit suffered in the 1st leg last week.   The Belgian FA has declared the pitch fit to play after a pitch inspection on Wednesday morning.
