Chris Janssens looks back on the 8th day of Lierse's Winter training camp, and tackles a few other topics.

Janssens: "The training camp is going perfectly. From day 1 we've been superbly welcomed here, everything is perfectly arranged her for us. The complex is really beautiful, the food is superb. Maged Samy and Neel De Ceulaer have planned this to perfection, so that we can prepare to focus ourselves on a strong 2nd half of the season, and hopefully give the Lierse supporters what they are due, 1st division football."

Janssens also looks to the future.
Janssens: "I don't participate in all the training sessions. I'm in the process of working on another role, which hopefully is being made ready for me at Lierse. I feel really super at this club. Little by little I'm preparing to say farewell. In my head I'm already ready for it. Hopefully a farewell which will coincide with the title." 

On Tuesday there were two training sessions. At 10 am the group was divided in two. One group concentrated on strength and acceleration, the other on an extensive long distance run of 45'. In the afternoon there followed a session on the pitch. After the warming up the group was divided into 3. Two groups played 6 against 6, the other group had exercises with physio Yves Janssens. The training was concluded with a specific type of match with bouncing balls.
