Geoffry Hairemans, a 20-year old Belgian midfielder, has signed for Lierse. Hairemans comes from Dutch club De Graafschap and has signed an 18-month performance related contract with an option to extend for a further 12 months.

Hairemans is multi functional midfielder from Wilrijk. He began his career at Rapid Deurne and Tubantia Borgerhout. His professional career began at Antwerp. In between he had trials at Manchester United and West Ham. He has also made three appearances for the National U19 side.

In 2010 Geoffry moved to Holland together with his brother Dimitri, where they both played one season at De Graafschap in the Dutch Premier division. Neither brother got much opportunity to play there, and  Geoffry was therefore looking for a new club.

He came as a triallist to Lierse where he impressed the coaching staff. Geoffry's transfer has been pending for some time awaiting medical tests, which have now been completed satisfactorily.
