On Saturday evening Lierse beat sister club FC Wadi Degla 2-1 to round off their fan day.

More than 3,000 spectators came to the match.
The first real danger came from ex-Lierse player Agblexo Wisdom. Cross from Ashour, Wisdom with a header into the corner, but Kujovic with a good save. Lierse countered with a shot from Mensah, saved by keeper Haytham. Again Wadi Degla, long ball to Ashout who won his race with Van Hemert, but shot wide. Lierse then win back possession, Dequevy quickly away down the wing, well played to Sekour, who unhesitatingly left the keeper helpless with a fierce low drive into the net (1-0). Wadi Degla went in search of an equaliser, Kujovic had to be alert for two dangerous chances. From a corner, a misunderstanding between Kujovic and Camacho, Shwarama profited from the loose ball: 1-1. The same Shwarama broke through the Lierse defence again before the break, rounded Kujovic and crossed, but Camacho did just enough to put off Ashour who fired wide.

Both teams made a lot of changes at halftime. The tempo dropped in the second half and there were not many chances of note. William Mensah (ex-Lierse) lost possession, Douala Sekour beat his man, and  fired home via the underside of the crossbar (2-1). Sekour had the chance for a hattrick when Wadi Degla again lost possession, but shot wide. From a good build up between Cavens and Frans, Thiebaut received the ball on the edhe of the area, and curled in a shot which struck the goal frame. The last chance of the match was for right back Frans, who was unable to finish off a nice run with a goal.
