On Friday afternoon Lierse lost a friendly match in Holland against VVV Venlo 1-0. The Dutch side scored the only goal of the match from a free kick. A very poor match was littered with fouls. An important pluspoint was to allow our newcomers to gain some much needed match rhythm. On Monday there will be a further friendly at the Lisp against Dutch First division side Willem II to play a benefit match.
