With an eye to the future, namely next season, Lierse have reached agreement with defensive midfielder Benjamin Lambot. Lambot currently plays at Antwerp, but the 24-year old (02/05/87) Belgian will come as a free transfer in the Summer. He has signed a performance related contract for two seasons.
The 1.90 metre midfielder has played for Antwerp since June 2009, having previously played for Tubeke and Virton. With Tubeke he won promotion to First Division and in the two and a half years he played for Antwerp, he was an important figure in midfield.
Lambot has been watched by Lierse for some time. Th scouting network in the lower divisions has immediately yielded results.  He is generally viewed as one of the better midfielders in Second Division.

On Tuesday evening a two-year contract will also be signed by Noel Nyason. Nyason is a 19-year old (16/01/93) Ghanaian attacking midfielder. He comes from KV Turnhout. Wadi Degla originally took him from Ghana to Egypt. Lierse saw him at work there with a youth team. He then came to Belgium to gain experience with Lierse's sister club Turnhout.

Lierse have also lent out three players to Turnhout for the remainder of the season: Dylan Carton, Niels Vets and Arno Andersen.
