Soufiane Bidaoui has won the prize as best Moroccan player in Belgium.
Jimmy Smet sadly passed away on Friday night. The ex-defender of Lierse began his professional career in 1997 at Beveren and then went to Greece and RWDM. In 2002 he signed for four years with Lierse. He played at Lierse until 2006. After that moving to Red Star Waasland. He retired from professional football in 2007. In 2009 he came out of retirement to play for KSK Kallo in Provincial third division. This season he helped the club to win promotion. Jimmy Smet was 34 years old.
On Monday K. Lierse S.K. has reachd an agreement with Karim Saïdi.
The 25-year old Egyptian Ahmed Samir Farag (b.20/05/86) will play for Lierse next season.
