On Wednesday last week (11/01) Wadi Degla drew 0-0 away to Ghazl El Mehalla. Nevertheless both teams had a truck load of chances to ensure the match didn't end goalless. Mo Wahed was one of the players who had chances to score but was unsuccessful.
On Sunday (15/01) Wadi Degla played at home to El Geish. Degla twice came from behind to draw the match. The first chance for the home team came from Mo Wahed. He fired just wide from outside the area. Just afterwards Mo tried his luck again from a more acute angle but keeper Al Shenawi saved. El Geish had chances of their own and on the half hour Salah Amin scored after a one-two with a teammate: 0-1. On the stroke of half time Degla substitute Kahraba dribbled his way through to the edge of the penalty area. His superb shot went in off the post. 1-1 at halftime.
Five minutes after the break a free kick for El Geish. Salah Amin sent a beautiful kick into the top corner: 1-2, and Salah's second goal of the game. Both teams then had enough chances to score but it was fifteen minutes from time when Mo Wahed curled in a free kick from the right into the penalty area where Youssef Gamal equalised with a bullet of a header. Wadi Degla went in search of a winner, but El Geish looked equally dangerous in attack. Degla stand in 11th place with thirteen points from twelve matches.
