Lierse won 2-9 In their third pre-season match away to 2nd division Provincial side FC Heikant.

In the first half Lierse racked up a 1-4 lead, goals from triallist De Wree, Cavens (2) and Vandooren. The latter was at the heart of a goal from Heikant, when playing a too short backpass. In the second half Thiebaut (2), Wahed, Cavens and Dreesen were on the scoresheet, Dreesen scoring with an overhead. Heikant scored a nice goal from a shot from distance from Van Looy.
Sekour and Radzinksi (medical tests), Lamloun, Job, Tournut and Janssens did not feature.
