You've read in recent days tha the arrival of Eiji Kwashima at Lierse has received a lot of attention in the media.
Even the official FIFA website published an article on Lierse and Kawashima, an honour for our club, which has found it's way onto the world map somewhat as a result.

Lierse is for that matter 'recordholder' for a Belgian club (together with AA Gent) in terms of the number of World Cup 2010 representatives. This due to the arrival of Lance Davids and Eiji Kwashima.
