
Yesterday Lierse played against the Dutch amateur side Aardenburg whilst on training camp in Cadzand. The match was considered as a strenuous training session, and that was shown by the result: 0-19
The following players took no part in the match: Thiebaut (rib), Meyers (shinbone), Samir (ankle), Tournut (revalidation), Janssens (calf), Job (achilles), Akwetey (sprain), Camacho and Dreesen. De Wree, who signed his contract on Monday, was taken off after 25 minutes as a precaution (calf).
In the first 10 minutes Aardenburg was able to offer some resistance, but after that it was one-way traffic.
