Wadi Degla vs Gomhorit Shebine 2-2

Wadi Degla drew again for the second week in a row, this time at home to Gomhoriet Shebine. As a result Wadi Degla lost their place at the top of the league. Wadi Degla started the second half of the season in 1st place, but have now had 3 consecutive draws.

First Half
Wadi Degla scored first via Wael Abd El Fatah in the 18th minute, but Gomhorit Shebine equalised in the 28th minute. Wadi Degla had many chances in the half, but had no luck. Wael Abd El Fatah, Wadi Degla's striker, scored from a superb pass played behind the Gomhorit Shebines defence. Gomhorit Shebine equalised from poor Wadi Degla defending.

Second Half

Wadi Degla played better in the second half, but Gomhorit Shebine always looked dangerous on the counter. Wadi Degla kept pushing and took the lead via a penalty from Ashor El Tekky, 2-1 in the 68th minute. After that Gomhorit Shebine had many scoring chances, and eventually equalised, also via a penalty. Wadi Degla did their best to create a winner, but had no luck. 2-2 the final score. Wadi Degla now have 36 points, abd are 1 point behind leaders Gasco.
