I was also really happy that we won our first match yesterday. It's always important to make a good start. But I think we can't ignore that we're missing a mature powerfull striker, though Nikolic did it very well yesterday considering his age.
What's your opinion about the match yesterday?
I've just read that Anderlecht wants to station Jakovenko in another team for one year. I think he can be our reinforcement as winger. He knows Lierse, played with some of them a couple years back and he can play both right as left winger. Maybe something to look into?

Yakovenko the striker who scores 15 goals in a season. Long time ago since i heard someting really funny like that. Were you there last time Yakovenko was a part of our squad? ^.^
I was verry hapy with the result of the game yesterday, unfortunatly through a huge trafic jame, I only saw 30 minutes of the game. but what I saw on the scoreboard when I enterd the scoreboard made me extremly happy.

Yakovenko is a good player but I don't think he is the man for the goals. Yes he is a reinforcement for lierse but he's not a striker and thats is still what we need.
Jakovenko.... We don't need him. We have been told he can play great football but in Lierse he did not show anything. In Genk he did not make it either. Same for Anderlecht. I really do not understand why Anderlecht gave him a contract.
Roussel from Bergen is also an option.
Utaka needs to force the KBVB via court. That's clear. Just like this player from Bergen. Dalmat?

When we travel abroad our boss forces us to take the public transport. It is easy to get the train in Schiphol. The connection with Roosendaal/Antwerp (even Lier)is very good.

Will Wisdom be able to play in the cup match on Saturday against Kelmis or is that too early?
If it's too early we still have two weeks to prepare him for our next league match.
Lierse players fly business class!! They get picked by a car. Few hours of rest are worth some more euros to spend and is not a big deal when it comes to the safety and comfort of our players. We need them in the best form for the competitions they have to play. Wisdom is gonna make a difference for our team. We play for the titles this year and we were already lucky with our first game but we need to be ready for our next games. We have to win all our games: The Cofidis cup games as well as the RAFC leaugue games!
Ok, I'm glad because the lack of quality in the attack line was a big problem. Nikolic is talented but that kid can't play a whole season at a certain level. Ventose and Mertens are simply not good enough (at this moment), they are physically not strong enough to compete for the championship crown.
With Utaka and Wisdom we must be ready for the battle that waits our team the next 9 months.
Finally we have some real frontplayers who can score a goal, but more important now there is some rivalry in that area.
It took some time Maged, but now I'm "really" happy. :-)

There is already a cooperation between Arsenal and Wadidegla, recently one of our partners had a fruitful meeting with Arsene Wenger and explained to him our new project with lierse, Arsene was positive about future cooperation and about some possibilities. We dont want to dream alot about it because while we think today we could benefit alot from such a cooperation, tomorow might bring us to a situation where we would have prefered to be completely independent.

Mr. Samy, today we payed 15 euros for a crappy game. There is no way that we will show up next week and again pay 15 euros after tonights "performance". These prices are simply too high for these kind of games. I believe that many people share this opinion, so don't be surprised if there are a lot less people next week for the next round of the cup...

I think supporters don't mind paying the 15 euro but they have a problem that when then pay this money they see a really crappy game. It looked yesterday that the team didn't want to play football. I'm a little bit shocked that we had it so difficult against a club in fourth division ( now already third ) . I also had some questions about the tactical choices of Herman Helleputte. Me and the rest of the lierse fans were all suprised about his (bad) tactical choices. I know that you know what you're doing but in all the time Helleputte is coach he could never convince me that he knows what he is doing. Tactics aren't his best point. I think the most of the Lierse supporters don't were happy when they left the stadion inspite that we won. They want to see the fighting spirit and I didn't saw it. I don't say that you can do something about it , but it does explain why some people think about not going next week ......
I don't mind paying 10 or 15 euro to watch a Lierse soccer game. I don't mind watching a bad performance (this can happen), but what I do want to see is that all players show fighting spirit. Yesterday, in the second half, the people in the beer stands worked harder than the players on the pitch.
Next time you meet the players, please make them aware of this disappointing attitude.

Sorry but this post is unbelievable ! First place you did not have to pay 15 € , but 10 would be enough . Second , you are gonna tell us how much people there will be next week . Third , what if we lost (or bad performance) also on Hamme ? You would not supporting the team anymore ?
