The PLC Koninklijke Lierse Sportkring (Lispersteenweg 237, 2500 Lier, VAT BE 0699.764.829), further named in this text as "Lierse", offers purchases on the basis of memberships for season tickets. The purchaser can choose a membership on an available seat at the stadium. During the season ticket ordering process, Roboticket reserves the selected seat for 15 minutes. If this time period has passed without completing the transaction, the season ticket selection will be removed.
The purchase date corresponds to the membership start date, with a defined binding period for the purchaser. For season tickets, this binding period is 12 months. Membership will be renewed when the binding period is over.
When purchasing a membership for home games, it is the responsibility of the buyer or ticket holder to check if an event has been cancelled or rescheduled (both date and location). When an event is cancelled or rescheduled, Lierse will communicate this through all of their channels.
Lierse does not guarantee that customers will be notified prior to the event date. Buyers are strongly advised to follow up on all communications regarding the event. In doing so, it is also crucial to update all account information (email, cell phone number...) in order to be informed quickly and correctly. The buyer and ticket holder are responsible to strictly follow up on all emails, even if they ended up in the SPAM folder. Event start and end times are subject to change.
Customers may be limited to purchasing a specific number of memberships. This limit will be indicated on the ticketing pages and must be checked before each purchase. These regulations are in place to deter fraud and unfair ticket purchases. The number of tickets may be limited per person, per debit or credit card or, for some events, per household. Lierse has the right to cancel transactions exceeding this limit without warning.
Purchased memberships may have certain restrictions such as limited visibility, limited height, no adjacent seats, among others... It is the responsibility of the purchaser to handle all membership and seat information on the Lierse site at the time of purchase.
Memberships can be obtained either digitally or physically. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the digital delivery can be successfully accomplished (including valid email address, valid cell phone number, ability to use a smartphone, use of QR or barcode...). If the purchaser fails to correctly use the membership, Lierse cannot be held responsible.
When a membership is purchased and paid for, the purchaser agrees to the terms and conditions and privacy-related terms and conditions of Lierse. After purchase, the membership will immediately become an active membership.
The purchaser is responsible for all memberships and tickets purchased and may only be accompanied by people without stadium bans. Should the purchaser or any of his companions fail to comply with this condition, Lierse reserves the right to cancel the membership or tickets purchased without warning.
Payment of membership
In addition to the price of membership, additional administration, delivery and transaction fees may be charged. These fees will be indicated during the purchase. Furthermore, no additional fees may be charged. All fees (price of membership + additional fees) include VAT.
The total price, including additional charges, must be paid immediately from the time the buyer agrees to the contract of sale, unless indicated otherwise. Payment must be made via debit or credit card or, for companies, by bank transfer. Lierse's payment partners are Roboticket and Adyen. Within your membership, after your explicit approval, Adyen has the right to keep your card details in a secure manner (tokenization) for future payment.
Memberships can only be paid monthly, as indicated when purchasing Lierse's subscription product. Memberships will be charged on the day of the month the purchaser purchased the membership.
Although Lierse aims for completely correct prices of memberships, errors may occur. When an error is discovered by Lierse in the price of any product purchased by the purchaser, Lierse will notify the purchaser as soon as possible and offer the option to confirm the purchase at the correct price (and debit or credit it to the purchaser's account), or cancel the purchase. If Lierse cannot reach the buyer, the buyer agrees that Lierse will treat the purchase as cancelled. If the buyer wishes to cancel the purchase upon paying the incorrect price, a full refund will be issued by Lierse.
If a payment cannot be made automatically, Lierse will proactively communicate this to the buyer. Lierse will retry charging the payment daily until a successful payment is made. The membership will be placed on "On Hold" 1 day after the failed payment. This status denies access to the stadium for game events. After the failed payment, the membership will remain classified on "On Hold" for up to 30 days, after which Lierse has the right to cancel the membership and release the chosen seat in the stadium.
Delivery of membership
Memberships are active immediately upon purchase and initial payment and can be either delivered, subject to an additional cost of €10, or picked up. This card can be shown to the stadium as an entry ticket. It is the buyer's responsibility to keep the card in good condition and keep all elements legible without allowing any confusion. If they are not legible, access to the stadium will be denied. Each ticket provides access once per event.
The membership card will be scanned at the entrance to the event.
If the same membership is offered multiple times, it will only be scanned the first time and provide access to the stadium. In case of theft, forgery or fraud, the perpetrator will be legally prosecuted.
Cancellation
The purchaser has the right to cancel the membership before the expiration date. When purchasing a membership, the purchaser is bound to pay for the full bond period during the first year.
Right of withdrawal & extension
Memberships have a binding period. During this period, it is not possible for the buyer to request a refund.
Lierse has the right to renew membership at the expiration date.
If the purchaser does not cancel in time, the passive membership will be automatically renewed at the new price of membership as communicated to the purchaser. The membership will become part of a permanent contract between the purchaser and Lierse.
In accordance with Article VI.53, 12 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the buyer cannot exercise his right of withdrawal according to Article VI.47 for the provision of services related to leisure activities if the contract specifies a specific execution date or term, as described in the case of an active membership.
Passive memberships can be canceled at any time, in accordance with Article VI.91, 2 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, including 1 months’ notice from the renewal day of the following month.
